Description
TM3200C-M2 Vinyl & Membrane Press Machine Overview
The TM3200C-M2 Vinyl & Membrane Press Machine is a conventional membrane press designed for applying PVC vinyl and suitable films to shaped MDF components used in kitchen, bedroom and furniture manufacturing.
The M2 forms part of the TM3200C range and uses the more compact rotating-table arrangement rather than the longer opposing-table layout associated with the M1 configuration. It uses a conventional jig and support system rather than AutoPIN technology.
With a working area of approximately 3000 × 1300 mm and typical pressing cycles of 2–4 minutes, the TM3200C-M2 is designed for manufacturers requiring repeatable membrane pressing while also considering production-floor space and material handling.

TM3200C-M2 Applications and Suitable Manufacturers
The TM3200C-M2 is designed for manufacturers carrying out membrane pressing and PVC vinyl wrapping of shaped MDF components. Typical applications include:
- Kitchen cabinet doors and fronts
- Bedroom and fitted-furniture components
- Wardrobe doors and panels
- Cabinet and furniture fronts
- Decorative doors and panels
- Wall panels and interior components
- Profiled and shaped MDF products
The machine can process PVC vinyl and other suitable films using a silicone or rubber membrane. Suitable pre-glued foils can also be processed with the appropriate non-stick table configuration.
M2 Membrane Press Configuration and Key Features
The defining feature of the TM3200C-M2 is its more compact table arrangement. Compared with the M1 configuration, where working tables are positioned on opposing sides of the press, the M2 uses a rotating arrangement intended to reduce the overall floor space required.
PPM can supply single-table and twin-table membrane press configurations according to the customer’s production requirements, available factory space and preferred workflow.
Key features include:
- Conventional jig/support system: components are supported using conventional jigs rather than the AutoPIN system used on the TM3200C-P.
- Compact M2 layout: designed to reduce the machine footprint compared with the longer opposing-table M1 arrangement.
- Oil-heated pressing system: heat-transfer oil is used to provide controlled and consistent heating during processing.
- Top and bottom heating: provides controlled heat across the pressing process.
- Becker vacuum pump: provides the vacuum required during membrane-forming operations.
- Omron PLC and HMI control: provides operator control of the automated pressing process.
- Multiple working modes: four operating modes are available for different film, finish and processing requirements.
- Heavy-duty construction: the machine frame and CNC-machined components are designed for strength, accuracy and repeatable production.
Where a twin-table configuration is selected, one working table can be prepared while the other is being processed, helping manufacturers organise loading and production more efficiently.
PPM can advise whether a single-table membrane press or twin-table membrane press configuration is more appropriate based on component sizes, expected throughput, available floor space and the required production workflow.
